A Busy Little Bee
Things have been really good out here in PA. My parents cannot believe how busy I am! I'm trying so hard to walk, in fact now I can walk holding just one of mom's fingers...so it shouldn't be much longer before they need to totally clear the decks.
Last week Dad was at training, mom was on a business trip and I got to skip out on daycare all week and hang out with Grandma Poppins! We got to play all day, every day! We went for walks with Gigi, went out for ice cream, and played a lot of games. We practiced blowing kisses, too. I miss her!!!!
Now it's just me, mom and Gigi holding down the fort while Dad is at school. He says he really misses me! I don't understand how he got in the phone though. Mom keeps holding up the phone so I can talk to him, but I don't know how he got in there!? Maybe when I get big someone can tell me how it works.
Mom and I have been taking a lot of walks lately. Sometimes she gives me a bath first so we can walk really far and some nights I fall asleep and she carries me right up to bed. It's fun. The air is cool and breezy and it feels good in my short golden locks of hair. And, my favorite dog GiGi is right by my side.
Since I'm getting to be such a big girl, mom lets me help with laundry. We put things in the washer and dryer together. I also love to poke my head in the glass window of the washer and watch the clothes spin.
Today at daycare I had a little taco salad. How cool is that! Mom needs to take a hint and start feeding me more exotic things. I've got a full mouth of chompers now and am ready for anything! I love food.
Tonight mom let me try some chocolate pudding. Oh my. What a messy delight! I got it all over myself, including my hair, but it tasted so good and I got a lot of good spoon practice. I'm catching on!!
Well, I better rest up for the busy weekend. Mom has a full social calendar planned for me, including two playdates on Friday! One at a coffeeshop with a toy train, and one at a swimming pool! Party!!
