I had a really nice weekend. My parents took me out for dinner and brunch, and all the waitresses said I was cute (they all comment on my hair, how it's so adorable because it sticks up like Woodstock...who is Woodstock anyway?). I got to eat crackers both times - yahoo!
I have five teeth now. Two on the bottom and three on top.
Crawling is still not working out, but I sure do like to pull myself up onto toys, furniture, cupboards, etc.
Yesterday I went to a birthday party and got to play in a Jumperoo. I don't have one at home, so that was a treat! I also got to taste some frosting, it was sweet!
My parents have ripped out my carpet, and the carpet in the family room. Tuesday we get new carpet in both rooms and I am excited. My room needed new carpet because my puppy ate two holes in it when it was her room. She is so silly.
Well, time for bed now! It was a busy day. Mom and I did a lot of errands and playing. I need rest for the week ahead!
Love you,
Em

Computer Time fell off Mom's Radar
My mom is a recovering workaholic...she continues to have relapses where she falls into a dark hole of deadlines, thank goodness I'm pretty mellow -- and patient. But, I just couldn't wait any longer and told her I needed my computer time back!
The past few weeks have been great. I'm rolling, scooting and trying to pull myself up. Crawling is over-rated. I don't like getting dirty and covered with Greta hair, so I think I might try to skip that step.
Here some recent pictures from playtime with my family, and from Easter. Enjoy!

Haunted High Chair
Yippee, yippee, yippee!! I'm finally feeling better. That nasty flu bug was for the birds and I am so thankful to be over it!!! Wow.
The highlight of the week? My little neighbor friends made me some Get Well cards on pink and purple construction paper. They showed up after my bath one night and it made me feel really special. They drew pictures and all said that they hoped I would feel better really soon -- and it worked! Wow, friends are pretty special.
My dog is also very excited that I'm eating again. She has a tendency to be on cleanup patrol. No matter what mom says... Sometimes we're sitting in the other room and we hear the high chair roll across the room. It's like it's haunted. But, I know better! It's just Greta looking for some crumbs. This time we busted her on camera!
Daddy comes home from another trip this week. I just can't wait to see him! He said he got me a special little hat from Korea. It will be fun to see it. Even though he is going to be really tired when he gets home, I expect him to play with me a lot to make up for lost time! He's my buddy and he makes me smile a LOT.
Before I got sick I was getting very brave at trying new foods. I had some grilled cheese and fries one day at daycare, that was good! I also tried mashed potatoes with parsnips, german liebkuchken (sp) cookies, and a tiny bit of roast beef. I really enjoy cottage cheese, Zweiback cookies, avocados, peaches and waffles. It's kind of fun to try new stuff.
Enjoy the video. Mom says it would also work with Popcorn...or any food, really. Greta is not picky! Apparently mom thinks I am, because today she would not take a clue that baby food peas are disgusting. Geesh!

Yuck
I had my first case of the stomach flu. Talk about a lot of work! I wore myself out, and pretty much leveled mom in the process. She felt so bad for me that she got the bug, too!
But, the good news is that I survived and I am feeling MUCH better now. I hope that Spring will come soon and all these bugs will go away till next year. Jiminy!
In other news, not much is new. I haven't been doing any new "tricks" because I've been putting all of my energy into getting better -- and working on more teeth.
I'll try to write something more fun soon. I miss my friends and family!
Love,
Emmy
