Oh, Dear!

Mommy informed me of a small problem: we cannot find daddy's camera. It's lost or hiding, and he is borrowing mommy's camera, so we have no pictures to post tonight.

I'm happy to say that I'm enjoying summer. We go for stroller walks and play outside with Greta. I am eating lots of delicious summer produce (especially watermelon and cantaloupe). In fact, I'm not just eating summer food, I'm eating all kinds of food with my mouthful of teeth!

Things have been good. I like to climb stairs, play with blocks, and take an occasional swig out of a sippy cup. I really hate the cup though -- my parents offer to it me and I usually push it away. I'm learning though...just can't force these things! Remember, I have 1/2 of my mommy's genes: I'm a stubborn little beast! Don't be fooled by my pretty eyes and rosebud lips!

Mom was in S. Dakota on business last week so I got three full days of daddy time! It was the best! We did a lot together and daddy passed the test with FLYING colors (mom was wondering if he could handle three days alone!). Mom brought me a little yellow lab stuffed animal that fits in a little purse and I just love it!

Well, sorry for a lack of updates lately. My family is busy preparing to sell our house and move to Ohio. It means a lot of nights we are cleaning and getting ready for showings. Hopefully it won't be much longer until we go so we can get settled before winter!

When daddy gets home we'll have to post more photos.

Miss you friends!

Things to Chew On

Not much is new. I'm working on some big teeth and it has been painful, hopefully the pain will subside soon because I can't do much about it. Chewing on my fingers seems to be the biggest relief, and cold applesauce feels good, too.

Mom took me to a farmer's market yesterday. She skinned a blueberry bagel for me and I absolutely loved it! Bagels are pretty filling, but I think they taste great and are another good thing to gnaw on right now.

Tonight we had dinner and mom let me nibble on her corn on the cob -- pretty messy, but it felt good on my teeth too.

This week I have to go to the ophthalmologist for an eye exam. I have had some trouble with conjunctivitis on and off for more than a month now. Mom and Dad decided it would be good to check it out. I'm not excited about having someone look at my eyes.

Then, on the weekend we're going to take a trip to see Grandma D. I get to stay with her while Mom and Dad search for neighborhoods in Ohio. It will be fun!!

Well, I need some rest before my Tylenol wears off.

Have a good week!

All tuckered out

After a long week of teething, playing, eating new food and enjoying life, I was completely exhausted. Dad got a kick out of it -- I went to bed with my favorite toys and was out like a light.

Good Girl, GiGi

We had a busy weekend! Saturday Daddy and I went to a market and the mall while mommy worked. We got our A/C fixed at home and showed our house to some nice people. Then, we went to a party in Carlisle and I got to meet some really nice big people. I was the only little person there, but that just means I got lots of attention. :)

Sunday Mommy and I had a really productive day. We ran errands, she planted an herb garden, caught up on some organizing, laundry and cleaning....we kept busy! We also both crashed in the afternoon for a delicious 2-hour nap -- that we both needed! We also took a nice, long walk because it was such a beautiful day.

Mom and I got to play with Greta (Gigi) a lot yesterday. She taught me to say "Good Girl, GiGi" and that is a mouthful! It's fun to say though and I like to reward her when we throw the tennis ball and she brings it back to us. In fact, we played tennis ball again this morning before I went to daycare!

Hopefully mom and dad can take some more pictures this week. My posts are more fun with pictures. :)

PS, I miss my grandparents -- all of them! And my aunts and uncles. You know you can come visit me anytime!!!!!
